Let me talk to y’all about something… The Mira is BEAUTIFUL. It has lovely lace that has a sheen and the lace is super soft. It’s really gorgeous to look at. It looks very luxurious, and I like to live in a fantasy apparently of being wealthy when, in reality, I’m a college student who lives at home and doesn’t pay for food and shelter, thus I can spend money on frivolous undies. Not many people get to say that, but I do have that privilege. If my dad had never had such a good union for his job, I doubt I’d be free to do things like buy Fortnight lingerie.
Anyway, let’s get into the Mira because she is gorgeous. I have a 30F in this.
…
She doesn’t do anything for me.
This is a bra that gives me no lift at all. It looks like I painted my titties shiny purple. It seems that the lace they use, despite being very comfy, is too stretchy and soft to support me. It makes my size difference even more apparent. Like, yeah, I know, no one has identical boobs, but they somehow look worse when a bra is making the difference more noticeable than it’d be if you were naked. They’re still just, y’know, hanging there. And my boobs have no natural lift, mind you, so in the Mira they look pretty sad. Self-supporting busts, take note! The Mira will look nice and won’t lift you at all!
Even worse, the Mira pushes them towards my armpits. This is disheartening because that’s just not the look I like. I prefer that my boobs essentially don’t stick out from the sides of my body. Without a bra, they like to go a lil east-west and be very rude that way. The Mira encourages them to do so.
Interestingly, the Mira’s “gore” is the closest to “tacking” out of all my Fortnight bras. I suspect it’s because it’s doing no lifting at all. The ones that do lift my ladies are very pulled away from my sternum.
ALSO, QUICK NOTE: The Longlines always ride up/fold upwards on me. I suspect this is due to my own height. I don’t have much of a space between my sternum and where my belly starts, so my belly is always forcing the longline to fold upwards. On the Maryjane, this doesn’t bother me, but it bothers me on all other models – including this one.
Appearance of bra itself (10/10)—Beauteous and lovely. I really love the lilac and ivory together. Mira’s a looker.
Appearance of bra on my body (2/10)— You saw the pictures. Need I say more?
Comfort of…
Straps (10/10)—They’re good straps! They adjust from the front.
Band (7/10)—4 hooks with a low back. Rides up a lot. Elastic makes me itchy.
Gore (N/A)… No gore.
Underwire (N/A)—No underwires.
Cups (3/10)—These are too tall and do no supporting. If you don’t need support or are looking for a sleep bra, the Mira might be good. If you have a smaller bust, as well, the Mira will probably be good. All Fortnights stop at cup size F, mind you, so the Fortnight is only going to fit a select range of people.
Overall rating, then? Fortnight Mira longline gets…
64% – You saw what you did. Think about that next time you come into class.
I wonder if you would like the jersey Miras better. I wear a 30E in Fortnight and have both the all lace and jersey Miras, and the shape in the latter is much better.

That’s a really good thought. I haven’t had the opportunity to try a different fabric in the Mira yet – I’m sure I would get much more support in a different fabric!
