First, thank you for checking out my blog! I have seen a sharp rise of people exploring, and that’s super cool to me. I hope you’ve been entertained and possibly helped in deciding if a bra is good for you, or just laughed at how terribly most of my bras have been rated.
I do love lingerie. I don’t love it for the whole “sexy time” factor, either – there’s just something about a bra that gives you a good shape that can pick you up. Or, sometimes, it’s a matter of comfort. That’s why I’m going to discuss some of my comfort bras. I go for these when I’m feeling sore.
Today, I’m feeling pretty sore. My boobs just hurt. I suspect it’s because I wore one of my new Claudettes and that I really should just sell them. I might just do that. I do have a 28FF Dessous in Papaya/Khaki that doesn’t quad nearly as badly, which is weird because it’s a size smaller than my others. I wonder if the mesh they used was different? Hmmm…
We’ve discussed some popular brands thus far on my lovely brog, including Cleo, Avocado, and Claudette. I hope that many of you have found this helpful. Today, we’re going to launch into Fortnight Lingerie, a Canadian brand that I like quite a bit.
Fortnight is very expensive. The first one I tried was a used one for..$40? I think. New ones are at least $100, as a reference, but that used one is still the one that fits me the best. But, as you’ve certainly noticed, I go apeshit when I like something and order everything possible. I have spent many paychecks on Fortnight orders.
Good thing I live at home and don’t pay rent/utilities/food…….. Yeah, otherwise, I would have been happy with the first Fortnight and called it a day.
BUT I DIDN’T because I get obsessed when I like something, and I really liked what I saw!
The Fortnights did lift me. They didn’t tack, no, but they wouldn’t – they’re wireless. Do keep in mind I haven’t tried their underwire bras, as the gores look INCREDIBLY WIDE and I don’t want to hurt my boobies over that. They may be cruel, but they don’t deserve a gore that’s over an inch wide.
Today, then, let us discuss my introduction to Fortnight: the Maryjane longline in a 30F.
This is a very sweet little bra. I love it. It has shimmy gold polkadots that pick up the light. It’s a neutral enough color to wear under t-shirts. It actually does a great job of lifting. It gives me cleavage for, y’know, what I want some cleavage. This is still my very favorite Fortnight, which is funny because I have a handful of them that I purchased new. Oh well.
Here she is.
Let’s rate our star child.
Appearance of bra itself (10/10)—Not overly ornate. Sweet and simple. I love the gold!
Appearance of bra on my body (9/10)— Almost a 10, but I inevitably quad in the center. It looks great under clothes, though.
Straps (10/10)—No complaints whatsoever.
Band (9/10)—4 hooks with a low back. Doesn’t get a 10 because the elastic can be irritating.
Gore (N/A)… No underwires, so, really, no gore. It doesn’t tack in the center, obviously.
Underwire (N/A)—Again, well, no underwires…
Cups (9/10)—They admittedly are a little tall, but they aren’t uncomfortable. In fact, this is my favorite Fortnight because the cups don’t irritate my armpits at all. All of my others inevitably do.
Overall rating, then? Fortnight Maryjane longline gets…
94% – YOU PASSED! YOU DONE IT! YOU HAVE THE GREATEST RATING, GOOD JOB!!!
